New Extended Hours at the Summer Used Book Sale!

The Friends will be trying out longer shopping hours for the Summer Used Book Sale; the sale will open at 9am on Saturday, and the Bag Sale will begin at 11am on Sunday. Don't forget that used books at great prices are available every day in the Friends Used Book Store (inside Lindley Perk)!

Digital Friends Newsletter

The Friends are now sending a digital monthly newsletter. Give us a call or send an email if you would like to receive our digital newsletter. Paper copy delivery of the Library's Check It Out newsletter is a Friends membership perk only. If you are interested in receiving that newsletter, you can sign up to receive it digitally on the Library website or become a Friends member to receive it in the mail.

We had a nice time chatting with old and new Friends at the Annual Meeting in January.

The Friends of the Bozeman Public Library will host its

Annual Membership Meeting

January 23, 2013
5:30-7:00 pm

Bozeman Public Library Large Community Room

Come visit with other Friends, find out how the Friends contributed to the Library this past year, and elect 2013 Board Members. The meeting will be held in the Library’s Large Community Room. All members are encouraged to attend.  If you would like to become a Friend, memberships will be available at the meeting.  

The Membership will be voting to approve Restated Bylaws at the Annual Meeting. The Restated Bylaws will require approval of 2/3 of the membership present at the Annual Meeting to pass. Please review the current and proposed Bylaws at the links below.

Under the provisions of the proposed Bylaws, the term of each Director shall be 3 years, staggered so that no more than 1/3 are elected at each Annual Membership Meeting. In order to accomplish these staggered terms, the following current Directors will be nominated for election after approval of the proposed Bylaws at the Membership Meeting:
